Making Peace with the Pause: Honoring Life’s In-Betweens

There’s a sacred hush that comes before transformation - a space between what was and what’s becoming. I used to fear that space. The stillness felt too quiet. The unknown too heavy. I thought if I wasn’t moving, striving, or fixing something, I was wasting time.
But I’ve come to understand the pause is not idleness. It’s preparation.
That in between space? It’s where Spirit does the deepest work. Where roots grow beneath the surface. Where clarity gently unfolds. Where we’re invited to breathe, listen, and trust that everything is aligning even when we can’t yet see the fruit.
I no longer rush past the pause. I’ve stopped treating transition like something to “get through.” Now, I meet it with admiration. Because peace isn’t only found on the other side it’s available right here, in the present moment.
If you're in a season of becoming, of undoing, of quietly tending to your soul you're not behind. You're blooming in divine timing.
Let this be your reminder: there is power in the pause.
You are allowed to rest, to reflect, and to rise slowly.
If this speaks to your season, here are a few practices that have helped me honor life’s sacred in betweens:
Daily journaling – Not to solve, but to witness. Let the page hold your becoming.
Candlelight rituals – Light a candle, set an intention, and simply be.
Stillness meditations – Let 5 minutes of silence become your sanctuary.
Affirmation: I am safe in the in between. I trust the pause is purposeful.
